" A quick sneak into winners, gainers and performers"

I guess this is what we expected, more emphasis on AI & ML along with BI Analytics. 2018 Gartner's survey throws up few surprises and some familiar winners...

Few players that caught my attention were:-

1. Biggest Leap:-Thought Spot is Recognized as a Visionary in the Gartner 2018, the fact that it was first included in 2017 and now being a visionary clearly shows that we are heading into the world of AI driven & Search driven analytics.

2. Winner:- Microsoft Jumps more to the right of "Visionaries" within the leaders quadrant just behind tableau.They are surely the biggest gainers when compared to last year. Rapid advancements in Office 365, Azure,Power BI have contributed to this jump.

3. Consistent Performer:-Tableau still remains the Gold standard with sole focus on Visualization, Quicker extracts and better maps.
