After the recent acquisition of looker by google its now the turn of Salesforce!!
Its a big concern for all the visualization community since tableau was doing great all alone and was the leader up till now. We have to just wait and see how salesforce moulds tableau going forward or would they re-brand it completely.
Salesforce stock was down by 4.89 % while tableau stock rose to 38.39 % ( 173.37). As per Reuters website, Tableau shareholders will get 1.103 Salesforce shares, valuing the offer at $177.88 per share, which represents a premium of 42% to Tableau’s Friday closing price.
